Sent – Week 6 :: To the Nations – September 17, 2017

Before we are sent, we must know what we are sent with — the Good News, the Gospel, of Jesus Christ

Psalm 67:1-5

Psalm 96:2-3

Matthew 24:14 – the Kingdom will be preached to ALL nations

We, the people of God, have a global responsibility to share the Gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:18-19

Fears tend to be what drives our decision making when it comes to large “Should I go?” type questions. Yes, your fears are valid and probably will come true. Moving overseas is difficult.

While the context of our hope changes the content of our hope is always the same.

We may live someplace else in a foreign culture, but the content of our hope is always Jesus. No matter your fears or concerns, God knows and He is always with you.

The Gospel will always see you through.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 -“To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

  • His power, His mercy, His grace will always strengthen every resolve for good, and in that Christ will be glorified in you, and you in Him.
  • Those God calls, He cares for. If He calls you to go, it won’t be easy, but He is always worth it.
