I’m looking forward to my partnership with Cornerstone Church. I’m a licensed professional counselor and a certified life coach. A few of the areas in which I do counseling are individual, marriage, pre-marital, parenting, and career transition and testing.
The counseling environment and relationship is a safe and confidential place to talk and share personal concerns and explore relationship issues. It is also a place to investigate your own personal goals and dreams. Through personality testing, one can come to know one’s strengths and limitations in order to relate to others and their environment better. People often ask me what’s the difference in counseling and life coaching. The one-line definition is that counseling usually deals with your past and where you are presently, while life coaching explores where you are and where you want to go.
Some bio information about me – my wife, Sue, and I have been married 43 years. We have three adult children and ten grandchildren. My undergraduate degree is from the University of West Alabama, counseling degree from Troy University, and doctorate from Oxford Graduate School. My hobbies are tennis, growing roses, and training dogs.
