Be a Group Leader at Cornerstone

At Cornerstone Church we believe community groups are central to helping people feel a sense of belonging and a connection to Jesus. We talk about life change happening best in community and our groups are designed to encourage that community. Through regular gatherings with a small group of people we hope to provide environments where group participants will constantly be moving closer to God.

The Lord is Working in Our Community! | WinShape Camps for Communities 2016

wsc.logoAre your kids, grandkids, relatives, and friends ready for the summer of a lifetime? If they are signed up for this summer’s WinShape Camp for Communities hosted by Cornerstone Church, then they are most certainly ready! The Lord has already sent over 12,000 of His precious children to communities across the United States, and we are stoked about that! You see, that is 12,000 names; 12,000 actual real-life, shorter-than-us people that are going to come face to face with the person of Jesus Christ this summer. That is 12,000 stories of poverty, wealth, success, failure, divorce, and so much more.

“We Are” Message Series – Serving | October 11, 2015 | with Rusty Hutson

“We are” is the beginning of a declarative statement that people associated with a group or organization use to describe themselves. For our church this statement is a way of helping us describe how God has uniquely designed our church’s mission, values and culture. This six-week message series is meant to bring focus and clarity on those important aspects of our church. So, whether you’ve been around our church for a while or are brand new, you won’t want to miss these six weeks together.

“Life, Liberty, Pursuit” Message Series | August 2, 2015 | with Rusty Hutson

“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the “inalienable rights” which the Declaration says has been given to all human beings by their Creator, and for which governments are created to protect. While these rights are given to every person, the question is “does every person fully understand how God intended for us to incorporate them into the ultimate purpose of our lives?” Life, Liberty and Happiness are beautiful gifts that need to be pursued passionately within the plan God has for each of us.
