It’s time once again to come together as the people of Cornerstone and celebrate all that God is doing through our church! I love this night. We’ve been doing this now for around 15 years. It never gets old to me! If you’ve never attended a Celebration Dinner, I hope you will seriously consider coming this Thursday, February 18 at 5:30 pm.
You can expect several things to take place at Celebration Dinner. The first thing is we will eat! This year the environment is sort of a picnic theme, so we decided to take a break from Italian (which has always been awesome thanks to Flint and Venditori’s Restaurant) and eat some barbecue. We will also have a meaningful time of worship lead by Dustin and the band. We will have an infographic available to everyone with some stats and information about our church. I will share a message and help us look forward as a church. We will pray together, sing and be sent out full of food, a love for the church, a love for God and his vision for Cornerstone!
This year I want to focus on the idea of “together”. It’s so important for each of us to understand that we can’t move toward the future in unity unless we do it together. Together is better! The Bible says two are better than one because they have a good return on their work. If one falls down the other can help him up. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. When we are working together in a spirit of unity we can overcome challenges better, create more momentum and lead MORE people to know and serve Jesus. I highly value us doing ministry together.
So, I look forward to Thursday night when we can come together for food, fellowship, worship, and inspiration! Go here to sign up for dinner. See ya then.
