Here’s what’s happening this month at Cornerstone Kids. You will find information about what the kids are learning, preview videos, take home materials and more.

What a beautiful February we are expecting in Cornerstone Kids! So many wonderful events, lessons and activities are planned this upcoming month. You will want to join us for Ash Wednesday service, Valentine’s Day and Celebration Dinner. Coming up soon you will also want to put on your calendar our Equip: Parents on March 5. Author, pastor and speaker, Patrick Quinn, will help us learn how to shape our children to become who God created us to be. You will not want to miss this event! We can’t wait to share these experiences with the precious children in our church!

PrintThis will be a heart warming month in Pebble Path with stories of Jesus showing His love for us in our “Buckets of Love” focus. Preschoolers will spend the month learning that Jesus loves us no matter who we are or what we do. He loves us no matter where we live or how we dress. When we hurt somebody’s feelings or disobey, Jesus still loves us. And realizing that He loves us so much is life changing. Jesus wants everyone to know that He loves them. He told the disciples to go and tell everyone everywhere that He loves them. He wants us to share the news too. We can tell our family and friends that Jesus loves them because Jesus loves everyone. You will want to check out the preview video below to get a glimpse of the wonderful month ahead in Pebble Path!

16Feb_standard_ThemeStart your engines, race fans! We are gearing up for a fun month learning what God’s word tells us about Cooperation. We define cooperation as working together to do more than you could do alone. As kids are growing they become more aware of the people around them. They have friends on the playground or in their neighborhood. They have to work in teams to finish projects in school. If they don’t learn God’s plan for cooperation, they’ll have a difficult time getting along with people. That’s why it’s important that we take some time out to discover more about what the Bible says about cooperation. God created us so we could have a relationship with Him, and so that we could participate in His work together. In other words, God put all of us together on this planet to do more together than we could ever do alone, and in some cases—with His help—to do things that might even seem “un-doable.” Rock City has a great month ahead and you will want to check out the preview video below to learn more!

February is going to be a very special time for Cornerstone Kids! We are praying the lessons, stories, and conversations will impact children’s lives for His kingdom. It is so exciting to be a part of God’s plan to lead children to know and serve Jesus here at Cornerstone! Our prayer is also that what happens on Sunday continues throughout the week. God has so much in store for us! He is at work in all our lives. There is no doubt how much He loves us and has the perfect plan for our lives. All we need to do is follow Him!
