The 2015-2016 year is now the 4th year of the Intern Program at Cornerstone Church. Each and every year the Lord’s faithfulness to bring students on to our church staff that are incredibly excited about the mission of the church never ceases to amaze me. The program has grown steadily since its inception, and we have seen students come through each year passionately pursuing the Lord’s calling for their lives while simultaneously pouring it out in service to our church family. Some have graduated and moved to other countries while others have gone on to pursue vocations in Atlanta, New York, Austin, and Birmingham.

The goal of the program is simple: walk alongside students as they pursue what the Lord has passionately gifted them to do in this world. Along the way they will pour out their lives in service of the mission of Leading People to Know and Serve Jesus on campus, in their dorms and apartments, and here at the church. This year we have eight interns on our staff team – one in Worship, two in Cornerstone Kids, two in Cornerstone Youth, and three in Cornerstone College. I could not be more excited about the Lord’s provision for our staff and our church family in this coming year and all that he has in store for us.
