Food! Who doesn’t love food?! From its very beginning, the church has been involved in making and serving food. We read in Acts 2:46, “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…” I know from personal experience that the best food samplings, along with the best fellowship, can be had at church events. And Guest Services at Cornerstone Church is looking for a few folks who would love to serve others by doing a little cooking.

The Sunday morning Kitchen Team is a great team for early risers or for those who like to work behind the scenes. These team members come in early on Sunday mornings to bake biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and cookies, grill sausage, and prepare donuts for our volunteers. They finish cooking and cleaning up well before the first worship service begins with plenty of time to enjoy a cup of coffee and fellowship with other volunteers and guests. (And having a few hot cookies and cinnamon rolls isn’t a bad perk either!) We have great leaders for the monthly rotating teams, but we need great volunteers to help them out.

Serving at Cornerstone Church is quite satisfying. So if this kitchen looks like the place for you to take your next step at Cornerstone we would love for you to give it a try – apron provided! Like all serving teams at Cornerstone, this is not permanent by any means. We want you where God wants you!

If you would like more information, I would love to talk with you and answer your questions! Please email me at
