Cornerstone Youth heading out to Radius Camp

Have you ever experienced one of those weeks that will never be forgotten? Will you never forget that week because it was so awesome, because it was so NOT what you were expecting, or because you’ve tried everything to forget it but it just won’t go away from the memory bank?

Radius Mission Camp 2015 will be one of those weeks that will never be forgotten among Cornerstone Youth, particularly the 48 sixth through eighth graders and leaders. Yes, we endured some of the hottest temps of the summer. Yes, we endured a broken bone; several bruised feet; a few scrapes and minimal sleep. Yes, we endured an evening with bats flying around while the girls were sleeping. And YES, we experienced the truth that God is one who MADE us ALIVE!!!

Our group was split into 3 teams and served at The Exodus Ranch in Opelika, the Hosanna Home in Lafayette, and with The Way 2 Serve at Mr. Nigel Andrews home in Auburn. They deep scrubbed vans; replaced an exterior wall; made progress on a playground; heard fascinating stories of Creation, Fall, Redemption and ReCreation; made amazing leaps in their faith; and discovered they were part of the hand of God at work among our community.

Ask any of the Youth and Leaders present at Radius 2015, and you will hear the truth and reality that God is in the midst of writing an incredible story, and He allows you and me to participate. Isn’t that a week to remember!!!
