“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 is the verse for WinShape Camps for Communities 2015. It is a verse you will hear a lot leading up to the week of June 15-19.

For the first time in the Auburn-Opelika community, Cornerstone Church will be hosting the WinShape Camps for Communities. The camp is a weeklong day camp experience for campers who have completed grades 1 through 6. It will be hosted at our Hamilton Road site.

While the summer camps are designed to be an incredible adventure for the campers combining sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one incredible week, it offers some great opportunities for adults as well. The focus is not just on Cornerstone campers but also on kids who might not get to attend a camp like this.

It is our goal to provide partial or full scholarships to as many as 75 kids in our community. So we need your help, and here are just a few ways to jump in:

• Sign up to be a volunteer.
• Sponsor a child.
• If you own or have influence in your business, be a corporate sponsor.
• Talk about the camp with your friends and invite them to be a part of it.
• “Like” our WinShape Camps Facebook page.
• Pray for the campers, volunteers and leaders.

These are just a few of the many ways to get involved.
