Rock City Sept Image

Here’s what’s happening this month at Cornerstone Kids. You will find information about what the kids are learning, preview videos, take home materials and more.

School has started back for everyone, and we have had a wonderful few weeks with Cornerstone Kids as we have welcomed new Kindergarteners in Rock City and new volunteers in both Pebble Path and Rock City. It’s that time of year where it feels like we have a fresh start, and we are expectant to see how God will grow and mold each of the kids in our ministry this Fall!

In Pebble Path, children will be assured of God’s promise that He is everywhere and has power of everything. The kids in Rock City will look at the role that responsibility has in their faith.

During September, preschoolers in Pebble Path will hear the message that “God’s got it!” As they explore stories of Elijah and Moses they will see that God has the power to hear us when we pray. And at the end of the month through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, children will find out that God is so powerful he can always be with them.

Over in Rock City, kids will be looking at responsibility–showing you can be trusted by what you say and do. They will learn that God has given each of us many wonderful gifts and talents, and we can honor God by taking care of the things that God has blessed us with. The verse that will guide us throughout the month is “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much” (Luke 16:10a).
