Recently, I had the wonderful privilege to chat with some amazing moms about how they pray for their children, and we captured this conversation on video.

As you will see, prayer is a wonderful way for mom’s to draw closer to our Heavenly Father, and to participate in His work in the lives of our children. No matter what age or stage of life we’re in, or what we are going through, God hears the prayers of our hearts for the children he has entrusted to our care.

In his book  Praying Circles Around Your Children, Mark Batterson says, “Prayer turns ordinary parents into prophets who shape the destinies of their children, grandchildren and every generation that follows.” He also says, “You’ll never be a perfect parent but you can be a praying parent.” I know this to be so true in my life! I am far from being a perfect mom, but I am definitely a praying mom.

I hope this video and the resources listed below will inspire and encourage you in your prayer life. Let our loving Lord hear about your kids regularly. His ears are always wide open!

“Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him for the life of your young children.” Lamentations 2:19.

Feature Family Videos: Many of you have enjoyed the encouragement offered in our feature family videos. We have filmed several over the past couple of years. It has been a joy and an honor for me to sit down with Cornerstone families to learn what they are doing in their homes to nurture the faith of their children, and to help mold and shape their families to look more like Jesus.
