“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10
God has given you a gift. You just may not know what that gift is yet. The great thing about serving at Cornerstone is that there are no strings attached and also room for trial and error. If you think you might be interested in serving in an area, try it out! If you find that it just isn’t a fit for you, try another area. And families are welcome to serve together. We want you where God wants you. Our hope is that you will seek to discover how God wants you to partner with us in His command to make disciples.
Christ provides us with the ultimate example of living life in service to others. Volunteering or, more accurately said, serving others, can provide some of the richest and most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have. The value of a volunteer is not necessarily in how many positions and roles they serve. It is in the impact they make in the place God has called them to serve the church. It is how they use their God given gifts in building up the body of Christ through serving.
