CC_weblargeCamp Cornerstone is just around the corner, and things are getting a little “zooey” around here! Our Weird Animals set is under construction, props are being painted, the band is rehearsing, crafts are being sorted, t-shirts have been ordered, and much more is happening as we approach our Weird Animal adventure.

We will kick things off with Weird Animal Family Night on Tuesday, June 3 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Family Night is for all ages, even if you are not planning to participate on any other Camp Cornerstone nights. All are welcome to join us for a hot dog dinner and our Opening Stampede of worship, drama, Bible teaching and more! Parents, please plan to attend with your children. For those who will be participating in Camp Cornerstone, you will also be able to pick-up your t-shirt and pay (if you haven’t already done so).

Camp Cornerstone continues for our kids on Wednesday at 6 pm with Crafty Creatures Night, on Thursday with Wild-to-Serve Night, and on Friday with Untamed Games Night. It’s sure to be a wild week of faith, fun and friendship! There are still a few spots left. Go here to register.

Weird Animal Volunteer Training is this Sunday from 6–7:15 pm in the worship area at Hamilton Road. This is a very important night for all of our volunteers. You will learn more about this year’s theme, each night’s Bible teaching, the schedule for the week, your specific volunteer role, and you will pick up your t-shirt, too. We hope you will join us. We will not have childcare that evening, but your children are welcome to attend the training with you. We will keep it short and sweet, and there will be plenty of animal treats!

If you have any other questions, contact me at Hope to see you at Family Night!
