This being the first mission trip I’ve ever been on, I didn’t quite know what to expect.

Yesterday we arrived at our final destination Buloba, Uganda, where we were welcomed with arms wide open. Moving from Florida to Auburn, I was shocked with the kindness I received almost immediately, but here in Buloba, it was overwhelming.

After arriving at the university and settling into our dorm we decided to explore the campus. Right away we became friends with the students here and were invited to help peel potatoes and play soccer.

I was able to have conversations with many of the students, but my favorite/most memorable one was with Gerald. He poured out to me and Micheal his testimony and an amazing story about how his mom recently brought to church and being healed physically and became a believer of Christ.

It is awesome to add how God moves in peoples lives even across the world.
