  • First Job: Preschool autism teacher
  • How did you first come to Cornerstone? I was invited by my roommate and life long friend. I stayed because this church offered something different. They truly cared about me. The energy was high, and the people were so welcoming.
  • When did you join the staff?
  • Role:  I enjoy spending time with younger children and watching them grow in their faith.
  • What did you do before joining staff? Taught different age groups for 6 years and consulted around the state of Alabama for 2 years
  • What is God teaching you lately? Patience. I am trying to allow God to mold me into the person he wants me to be. It’s hard at times to wait on him especially when I think he is taking too long.
  • Favorite Food: Macaroni and cheese
  • What is your greatest Challenge? For me personally, losing my mom this past year. Learning to do life without her has been a huge challenge and a struggle.
  • What inspires you? People who have so much joy in their lives even in the midst of such sadness
  • Favorite Movie: “Mary Poppins”. I love Julie Andrews, and the music was awesome.
  • Favorite Book: Calm my Anxious Heart. This book taught me a lot about myself and about letting God be in control.
  • Dream travel location:  California because it is sunny and 70 degrees year round!
