Dear Heavenly Father, I take this time now to offer up a quick, meaningful prayer to you, oh Lord. I ask that you grant students, parents, and citizens of the Auburn City School district patience. Patience with students, teachers, or co-workers. Patience to not react harshly without rational thought. Patience to realize that Your glory is more important than what goes on here Lord. I pray that throughout this Holy Season, You stay near us Lord as we go throughout our day to day life. I passionately ask that you be the center of our life Lord and through you we gain needed patience and learn to love our neighbor as Your son Jesus did. Amen.

Challenge: If you are a parent or an individual with close relations to a teenage, I challenge you to pray for patience in that individual. You, just like them, went through the troubles and hardships of high school once and you know what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Pray for them as they try to be strong sons/daughters of Christ. If you are in high school/middle school, I challenge you to fully think through what you say/do in the hallways of your school. Do not be quick to act with haste, but be strong and wise with your response. I also would advise reading Romans 8. Romans 8:28 really caught my eyes and hit home with me: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
