Sunday, January 6: 12:30-2 pm in Rock City at Hamilton Road

Caring for children in need of a home is something we are called to do as Christians (James 1:27). And one of the great needs of the Lee County community is for foster parents to care for children in need of a home. We can not and will not sit idly by while children need these homes to care and provide for their deepest needs in difficult times, whether that is for a short time or for a lifetime. We need to ask what our role can be in impacting the foster care needs of Lee County. Part of understanding that role is to know more about the problem.

At our Foster Care Ministry Lunch and Learn, you will gain an understanding of foster care – what it is and how it works, as well as how you can play a part in the ministry. This lunch is designed to answer some of the more common questions around foster care. Each lunch will include childcare, a light lunch and some great conversation about foster care. Please register below. The deadline to register is January 5. Don’t forget to check-out our foster care resources in the Book Corner at the Hamilton Road or Lee-Scott sites on Sunday mornings.
